A collaborative agreement between the University of Melbourne and CO2CRC Ltd has been signed for the GeoCquest II research project. The agreement marks an ongoing commitment between the University Consortium of Cambridge, Melbourne and Stanford with CO2CRC to collaborate in the study of the subsurface behaviour of carbon dioxide in sedimentary rocks. The study aims in part to build on research activities undertaken and data collected at the CO2CRC Otway site. All parties believe there is merit in strengthening their past collaboration through ongoing meetings, data exchange and the continued sharing of results.
